Anwar Rasheed is directing 'Trance' after a 6-year-long hiatus since Ustad Hotel. Vikram is currently working in a movie directed by Rajesh M Selva. He has appeared in nine Malayalam movies including Dhruvam, Sainyam and Mafia. Vikram last appeared in Malayam in 'Indriam' in 2000. The movie will be scripted by Harshad, who has also scripted 'Unda', by Khalid Rahman featuring Mammootty as a police officer. Director I V Shashi had helmed a movie based on the Malabar rebellion titled '1921' which featured Mammootty in the lead role.
